New Workshops

We are planning an exciting and very varied programme of workshops and craft days. Book early to avoid disappointment. Some classes are booked up as soon as they are released.

Friday 6th May 2011 (6.30pm - 8.00pm)

Beginners guide to quilting. This is the first of a 6 session guide to quilting, we will be learning how to use a rotary cutter and cutting mat, cutting squares and sewing them together

The further 5 sessions are to be arranged.

Sunday 7th May 2011 (9.00am - 12.30pm)

Strippy quilt (suitable for beginners). Come and have fun making an Absolutely gorgeous strippy quilt, made from beautiful 'Jellyrolls', we have a lovely selection of these wonderful rolls of fabric including Moda collectable's. Really easy to make quilt.

Sunday 8th May 2011 (9.30am - 12.00pm)

Quilted Stackable Storage Bag. This super storage bag is really simple to make, and is a great idea for storing all your fabric stash, children's toys, and anything else you can think of. Be warned once you've made one, you'll definitely be making more.

Friday 13th May 2011 (6.30pm - 8.00pm)

Beginners guide to quilting. In this 2nd session we will be learning how to use wadding, we will also be cutting 4" squares and assembling a sewing machine mat.

For all of the above classes (If you have your own sewing machine and can bring it with you, please do.).

Tuesday 17th May 2011 (6.30pm - 8.00pm)

Our Reqular Card Class. Come and learn some new card making techniques with our lovely group of reqular card makers, this month we will be using 'Tim Holtz' alcohol inks.
